چکیده
AbstmctThis paper considers the design of binary Mock codes that are capaMe of correcting UP to t symmetric errors and detecting all unidirectional errors. A class of systematic t symmetric-error-correctingM1-unidirectional-error-detecting (tS~ECIAUED) codes are proposed. When = o the proposed codes become Berger codes. For t = 1, the proposed codes are puts. t-symmetric-errorcorrecting/all-unidirectional-errordetecting (t-SyECIAUED) codes were proposed for applications in digital systems [31-[51, [71-[1~1, [141-[16] with the objective that if there are fewer than or equal to t errors, all of them could be corrected and if there are more than t errors shown to be of “asymptotically optimal order.” Methods to construct nonsystematic t-SyECIAUED codes for t = 2 and 3 are also presented in this paper.

Unordered Error-Correcting Codes and their Applications
We give efficient constructions for error correcting unordered {ECU) codes, i.e., codes such that any pair of codewords are at a certain minimal distance apart and at the same time they are unordered. These codes are used for detecting a predetermined number of (symmetric) errors and for detecting all unidirectional errors. We also give an application in parallel asynchronous communications.
متن کاملOn t-Error Correcting/All Unidirectional Error Detecting Codes
We present families of binary systematic codes that can correct t random errors and detect more than t unidirectional errors. As in recent papers, we start by encoding the k information symbols into a codeword of an [n', k, 2t + 11 error correcting code. The second step of our construction involves adding more bits to this linear error correcting code in order to obtain the detection capability...
متن کاملConstant Weight Codes for Correcting Symmetric Errors and Detecting Unidirectional Errors
We propose two classes of constant weight codes, which can be used for correcting t symmetric errors and simultaneously detecting all unidirectional errors. Codes in the first class are in quasi-systematic form and codes in the second class are in systematic form. Since each codeword of codes in both classes can be divided into a data part and a parity check part, the proposed codes have the me...
متن کاملt-Error Correcting/ d-Error Detecting (d>t) and All Unidirectional Error Detecting Codes with Neural Network (Part II)
In this paper, we develop an algorithm for t-error correcting/d-error detecting and all unidirectional error detecting (t-EC/d-ED/AUED) codes in the framework of neural work. As t-EC/d-ED/AUED codewords are formed by concatenation of information bits and one or more groups of check bits depending on how we want to construct code, we demonstrate neural network algorithms for constructing, detect...
متن کاملAn approach to fault detection and correction in design of systems using of Turbo codes
We present an approach to design of fault tolerant computing systems. In this paper, a technique is employed that enable the combination of several codes, in order to obtain flexibility in the design of error correcting codes. Code combining techniques are very effective, which one of these codes are turbo codes. The Algorithm-based fault tolerance techniques that to detect errors rely on the c...
